Craving wings?! Okay, well these ainβt it; however, theyβre delicious. π€ͺ
Cauliflower Coating
β’ 2 small heads of cauliflower
β’ 2/3 cup of flour
β’ 1 1/3 cup of almond milk
β’ 1 teaspoon minced garlic
β’ 1/4 teaspoon salt
β’ 1 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
Letβs sauce it up!
Sweet and Spicy Sesame Sauce
β’ 1 tablespoon olive oil
β’ 4 cloves of minced garlic
β’ 2 teaspoon fresh grated ginger
β’ 2/3 cup coconut liquid (soy sauce substitute)
β’ 1/2 cup agave
β’ 4 tablespoons vegetable broth
β’ 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
β’ 2 tablespoon rice vinegar
β’ 2 teaspoons vegetable sriracha
β’ 2 teaspoon flour (cornstarch substitute)
β’ 2 teaspoon water (to mix with flour)
Instructions:
Cut the cauliflower into small pieces (personal preference as I donβt like big florets) – set aside. Then mix together the 2/3 cup flour, 1 1/3 cup almond milk, 1 tsp garlic and 1/4 tsp sea of salt.
After mixed into a batter, add your cauliflower and toss to coat (use your hands to really get it coated). Add in breadcrumbs and mix until well coated, add more almond milk or breadcrumbs as needed.
You can air fry or bake in the oven. I used the air frying method, in an air frying oven. Air fry in single layers (donβt overcrowd frying basket) for 20-25 minutes, at 370Β°.
Note: Reduce time if you donβt like your florets crispy.
While cauliflower bites are cooking, start making your sauce. Add olive oil and minced garlic (garlic burns easily so lower your heat), sautΓ© for about 2 minutes and then add your grated ginger. SautΓ© for an additional 1-2 minutes. Add in all remaining ingredients; however, not the water or flour. As sauce is simmering, mix the water and flour into a paste and then add to the sauce. Bring to a low simmer 3-5 minutes, remove from heat and allow sauce to thicken. Add cooked cauliflower to sauce pan (low heat) and evenly coat. Add some sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish and taste.
And thatβs it! Pair with basmati rice. Delicious!

These look tasty indeed!
They were indeed delicious! π
